If you take your diving seriously, you need to be a seriously good diver, complete the PADI Rescue Diver Course for some serious fun!
Rescue Diver in Dahab
Enrolling in the PADI Rescue Diver course means you are prepared to learn the skills to help another diver should an emergency arise, but first, you need to know the first aid skills required once you’ve saved someone! If you don’t have such training, you will need to complete the Emergency First Response (EFR) course. After all, there is no point in rescuing someone if you have no idea what to do once you’ve rescued them!
Emergency First Response (EFR) Program
The EFR program is a comprehensive, one day training course in assessing and managing a wide range of emergency scenarios and applying the appropriate first aid and secondary care to give a victim the best chance of making a full recovery.
Rescue Diver Course
On the PADI Rescue Diver course you will learn how to deal with a variety of emergency situations above, and below the surface.
Dealing with a panicking diver, searching for a missing diver and bringing an unconscious diver safely to the surface, are just some of the situations you will learn to deal with and all take excellent diving skills.
Making the right choices in the first few minutes of an emergency situation could mean the difference between life and death for the victim.
The course culminates in full emergency scenarios, where you will use the skills and techniques you have learned to complete a rescue in an accident simulation. You will need to manage the incident, from the point of when the alarm is raised, to finding and retrieving the victim and then using your first aid skills.
