Right in front of both Sea Dancer facilities there are great snorkeling opportunities. Sea Dancer in central Dahab has a shallow and sheltered bay which boasts 3 great sites for snorkeling and diving! Bannerfish Bay is a great place to start with it’s vibrant shallow corals, while Lighthouse and Mashraba reefs are just a short walk away. Our Sea Dancer resort facility also has some wonderful shallow corals to explore.
Most people are amazed at what is to be seen literally seconds from our front door!

Slightly further afield, The Islands and Eel Garden are a short drive away away. Our professional guides will show you some amazing  ‘aquarium-like’ fish and corals for an unforgettable experience.

Other sites such as the ‘Blue Hole’ and ‘Southern Oasis’ are fantastic spots for a full or half day trip by jeep.

For an extra special day we can combine a trip to the Blue Hole with a  boat trip to the Bedouin settlement  of Ras Abu Galum and The Blue Lagoon.  These are areas of exceptional natural beauty and an experience of a lifetime. Ras Abu Galum can even be done as a camel safari and, for an extra special ‘Bedouin Experience’ we can stay the night, eat wonderful food and sleep under the stars! (huts are also available!)

If you want more comfort and less adventure we offer a great day by luxury boat to Gabr-el-Bint. This protected area is rich in corals and marine life and a great excursion for snorkelers, divers, swimmers and those who just want to relax and soak up the sun.

Whatever your experience and confidence level, Dahab will amaze you with its vast variety of colourful fish and coral.

If you want to really get the most from snorkelling why not enrol in a Freediving course so you can learn breath hold techniques to really get down amongst the fish!

please note that sites such as the Blue Hole are only suitable for confident swimmers and others such as the Eel Garden can experience fairly strong currents, always ask for local advice before venturing into the water without a guide.
